Research shows that 88% of the responsibility for managing an organization’s reputation lies on the shoulders of CEOs. The two main determinants in reputation management performance, which directly affect many business outcomes from consumers’ purchasing and recommending preferences to employee engagement; the quality of communication and relationships. There will be those of us who think “But in this?” and isn’t life built on these things, but how “trusting” we are with our stakeholders is directly related to both communication and how we manage relationships. Because that prescription also includes what the company’s priorities are in communication and relationships.
